Wi-Fi with FOSS course 3rd batch ...

3rd batch of "Wi-Fi with FOSS" course will be held during 25 - 30 June 2007

AU-KBC, jointly with NRCFOSS, plans to conduct the third batch of the Certification Course "Wi-Fi  with FOSS" during 25-30 June 2007.

The Communications Group of AU-KBC Research Centre, in association with NRCFOSS, has announced a one week of certification course on Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) technology using FOSS components. The main objective of this course is to enlighten the students on the various aspects of an IEEE 802.11 WLAN, popularly known as WiFi.

The first batch of certifiation program was conducted during Dec 18th to 30, 2006, with 28 participants from colleges and industry. The second batch was conducted as a weekend program during 3 -25, March 2007 with 22 participants. The program is particularly targetted towards industry participants and final year undergraduate and postgraduate students of ECE, EEE, CSE and IT.
